Our Accommodation

Pathway 360 Care consists of 4 homes, which provide care and support for children who are aged 16-17yrs. We will also continue to provide support for those children who turn 18, if we believe they are suitably placed and are risk assessed as being appropriately matched at the home. The homes are Barberry House, Linwood House, Maple house and Rhodanthe House and can accommodate up to three/four young persons of either sex, age range between 16 and 18, on a planned basis or as an emergency admission when it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so.

Barberry House

Barberry House is a stunning 5-bedroom character, detached property, situated in the grounds of approximately 1/3 of an acre on a private lane in Butts Ash. It is a short distance away from the nearest town of Southampton (13 miles). It is situated in a quiet area and is well maintained. The nearest train stations are Totton (9 miles) and Southampton Central (12). Local amenities are also a short distance away, which include shops, sporting and leisure facilities. Within walking distance is the New Forest National Park and close by are several beaches.

Barberry House is very pleasant, with light and spacious rooms, furnished to a high standard. The kitchen has fitted units and a good range of equipment for use by all Children. The garden can be used to engage in various crafts and tasks i.e. bicycle maintenance, horticulture as well as being a safe play area.

Linwood House

Linwood House is a spacious 4 bed home, which comfortably accommodates up to 3 children. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area downstairs and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utilities and goods to enable the children to undertake their life skills and help with cooking, washing and household chores. Each of the bedrooms affords the children space to relax, store their belongings and have a desk/workplace should they wish.

Linwood is located about a mile away from Barberry House and so has access to the same amenities as listed above.

Maple House

Maple House is another 4 bed home, which accommodates up to 3 children. The house has a large floorplan downstairs, with an open plan living room, kitchen and dining room. There is a separate utility room and the office and located on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom, with the fourth bedroom being located downstairs.

Maple house is located on the outskirts of the city of Southampton and so access to the city college and work opportunities are either a short walk or a quick bus ride away.

Rhodanthe House

Rhodanthe House is a spacious 6-bedroom house which comfortably Can sleep up to 4 to 5 young people. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area downstairs and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utilities and goods to enable the children to undertake their life skills and help with cooking, washing and household chores. Each of the bedrooms has its own shower and toilet facilities and affords the children space to relax, store their belongings and have a desk/workplace should they wish. On the second floor of this home there is an additional kitchenette, this allows the young people to have additional space to cook and develop new skills. There is a separate utility room and the office and located on the ground floor.

Rhodanthe is located about a mile away from Barberry House and so has access to the same amenities as listed above.
