Meet The Team

Pathway 360 places great importance securing and retaining high calibre and experienced staff, whom have or are enrolled/going to be enrolled on the appropriate qualifications. It is the aim of the home to ensure that there is a mix of ages, gender and ethnicity that individually and collectively present as positive role models for the Children requiring our support.

Company Director / Nominated Individual

Nadine Bottomley

Nadine first started her career working with high risk mothers and their babies within the NHS for 10 years. She then ventured into the Residential Care setting, where she has 8 years’ experience of working with specialised complex challenging behaviours, mental health, autism and EBD. Nadine has developed professionally up to this current post from a Residential Care Worker, 16 + project manager, registered manager to Operations Manager / Safeguarding Officer at her last employer. Nadine holds the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Certified Safeguarding Lead, DDP Level 1, PACE, and Team Teach trained to an advanced level. Following Nadine’s time as an operations manager she then went onto completing a role within quality assurance and undertaking the Reg 44 inspections for 11 children’s homes.

Registered Service Manager

Michael Porstendorfer

Michael has worked with Adults and Children for 19 years. Michael Worked within the prison service for 13 years before starting his career in care. During this time Michael worked in several Prisons, this included working in a women’s mental health unit, young offenders and managing a detox unit for adult males. Michael then worked for a private residential care provider, during his 6 years Michael worked his way from Residential support worker in an activity based crisis setting to opening and Managing care home as Interim Manager before becoming an Operational Manager overseeing the reduction of Physical intervention as well as on call and DSL duties. Michael holds a Level 5 diploma in leadership and management in residential childcare, is An Advance Team Teach Tutor and a Mental Health First Aid England Tutor.

Operational Manager

Kate Hoskins

Kate has worked within a Private Residential Care Setting since 2007, spending time moving up the ranks from Support Worker, Shift Leader to eventually successfully managing a 4 bed home for EBD children for 3 years. Kate's background is working with significant challenging behaviour as a result of abuse, ADHD and Mental Health issues.

Prior to working in Residential Care, Kate spent several years working for a local authority as a Fostering Supervisory Worker, providing support directly to Foster Carers, including undertaking parts of the Form F assessment and initial training package. 

Following her time as a Registered Manager, Kate progressed to undertaking a role within quality assurance and undertaking the Reg 33/44 for 7 children's homes. During the last 4 years Kate has become heavily involved within the HR department, working as the Head of HR for a Private Care Provider. Within this role she is responsible for a number of areas, but importantly to the role of QA, she has gained extensive knowledge on safer recruitment practices and delivering training and development packages for all employees, from senior managers to care staff.

Kate holds a level 4 in Leadership and Management. Level 3 and 5 CIPD qualifications. Is DSL trained, First Aid trained and holds an Advanced Team Teach qualification.
